Durante la configurazione di wordpress 3.8, accedendo tramite browser web, mi sono imbattuto nel seguente errore:
Sembra che nella tua installazione PHP manchi l'estensione MySQL richiesta da WordPress.
Ciò è dovuto al fatto che non hai installato mysql o mysql ma non hai installato l'estensione php-mysql. Quindi la soluzione rapida all'errore di cui sopra è:
Assicurati che mysql e mysql-server siano installati
Assicurati che sia mysql che mysql-server siano installati eseguendo il comando seguente:
[root@catest html]# yum install mysql mysql-server Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, security Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile Setting up Install Process Package mysql-5.0.95-5.el5_9.x86_64 already installed and latest version Package mysql-5.0.95-5.el5_9.i386 already installed and latest version Package mysql-server-5.0.95-5.el5_9.x86_64 already installed and latest version Nothing to do
Assicurati che il componente PHP-MySQL sia installato
Assicurati che php53-mysql(becoz, php53 sia installato) sia installato usando il comando seguente:

In caso contrario, installalo utilizzando il comando seguente:
