Ho appena aggiornato a Ubuntu 16.04 dalla 15.10 e il mio VirtualBox non vuole più avviarsi. Ho provato a eliminare virtualbox , virtualbox-dkms e vagabondo dal mio sistema e sembra funzionare (non sono affatto un amministratore di sistema, quindi mantienilo stupidamente semplice). Dopo aver reinstallato utilizzando DEB online o utilizzando apt-get Alla fine ho questo:

L'avvio di VBox e il tentativo di aumentare una delle mie scatole vagabonde mi hanno mostrato che avrei dovuto eseguire modprobe come radice. Ho ricevuto questo messaggio durante l'esecuzione di sudo modprobe vboxdrv :

Ho trovato la risposta, era quella cosa di avvio sicuro installata da Ubuntu durante l'aggiornamento. Le istruzioni non erano chiare su come rimuovere quella cosa di avvio sicuro, ma sono riuscito a farlo.
- Riavvia il computer dopo aver installato i driver DKMS per VBOX
- Ti verrà visualizzata una schermata blu con 2 opzioni:attendi o modifica le impostazioni MDK
- Scegliendo cambia le impostazioni MDK e inserisci i caratteri della password come richiesto, devi premere sul tasto corrispondente all'indice dei caratteri richiesto e quindi premere INVIO.
- Dopo aver inserito 2 o 3 caratteri, ti chiederanno se desideri rimuovere l'avvio protetto, dì di sì!
- Il computer si riavvierà, una volta tornato dovrebbe funzionare!
