Per correggere le impostazioni locali, controlla le impostazioni del supporto della lingua:l'inglese (India) dovrebbe essere installato. In caso contrario, installarlo. Quindi esegui:

sudo locale-gen en_IN.UTF-8

Se ciò non genera le impostazioni internazionali, puoi utilizzare

sudo dpkg-reconfigure locales

e scegli en_IN UTF-8 dalla lista enorme per fare la stessa cosa

Se non vedi en_IN.UTF-8 per tutto, quindi fai questo:

sudo update-locale LANG="en_IN.UTF-8" LANGUAGE=en_IN:en

e controlla locale ancora. Se il LC le variabili sono ancora sbagliate, quindi fai:

nano ~/.pam_environment

e modifica in modo che assomigli a questo:

Salva, esci, digita:source ~/.pam_environment e ora il tuo locale è fisso.
