Sto provando a partecipare a una riunione WebEx da Ubuntu 12.04. Posso partecipare ma non vedo i messaggi della chat dal vivo, non sento alcun suono e non riesco a vedere la presentazione. Ho provato a usare Ubuntu 12.04 a 64 bit e 32 bit. L'unica volta che sono riuscito a farlo funzionare, era a 32 bit e il suono ha funzionato per alcuni minuti, ma poi si è fermato; Potevo vedere la presentazione, ma non potevo vedere i messaggi di chat. Ho installato Oracle Java 7 da webupd8 PPA e scaricato tutti gli aggiornamenti di Ubuntu a partire da oggi 28 maggio 2013.
La pagina dei requisiti di sistema WebEx dice che richiedono Ubuntu 10.x o 11.x a 32 bit. Questo significa che a maggio del 2013 non supportano Ubuntu 12.04?!?
AGGIORNAMENTO 29 maggio:sembra che stavo guardando i vecchi requisiti di sistema. Sembra che questi siano gli attuali requisiti di sistema WebEx. Quindi, dice:"WebEx supporterà qualsiasi distribuzione Linux purché soddisfi i seguenti requisiti minimi:
- Kernel:2.6 o successivo
- X Lib:compatibile con X11R6 o successivo
- Libreria C++:libstdc++ 6
- Ambiente desktop, XFce 4.0 o successivo, KDE, Ximian, Gnome

Sto ancora imparando su Ubuntu e Linux, ma so che Ubuntu 12.04 viene fornito con un kernel più recente (3.2), utilizza il gestore di finestre X11, Unity è basato su Gnome e ho installato Oracle Java 7. Quando cerco il centro software per questi altri pacchetti sono un po 'confuso poiché ci sono così tante opzioni. Immagino che il mio problema non sia avere uno o più di questi pacchetti e/o versioni incompatibili. Qualcuno ha qualche idea in merito?

Correlati:errore dpkg:"tentativo di sovrascrivere il file, che è anche in..."Ho provato molti passaggi e consigli da altri post e niente ha funzionato per me in Firefox (Ubuntu 16.04 64bit).
L'unico modo per far funzionare Webex completamente era installare VirtualBox e quindi installare Windows come sistema operativo virtuale. Sì, è un po' scomodo eseguire un sistema operativo virtuale ogni volta che hai bisogno di Webex, ma puoi essere certo al 100% che funzionerà perfettamente (voce, video, condivisione dello schermo).
