Dopo aver installato Ubuntu 14.04 LTS… tutto funziona bene senza fare l'aggiornamento… dopo pochi minuti il mio wifi perde la connessione wireless.. devo riavviare per usarlo di nuovo.

Migliore risposta
Dopo un sacco di ricerche su Google, ho trovato un post recente con un nuovo firmware.
- Scarica rtl8723befw.bin, copialo in /lib/firmware/rtlwifi/ e quindi riavvia il laptop.

Disabilita la funzione di sospensione del driver:
$ echo "options rtl8723be fwlps=0" | sudo tee /etc/modprobe.d/rtl8723be.conf(Ho anche trovato informazioni usando
options rtl8723be fwlps=N ips=N, che disabilitaipsopzione, ma non ho ritenuto necessario utilizzarla)
Ho anche letto in molti post che il bluetooth può interrompere la connessione WiFi, quindi l'ho disabilitato permanentemente anche: $ sudo rfkill block bluetooth (e controlla che sia disattivato con
$ sudo update-rc.d bluetooth disable sudo service bluetooth status )
[Se si riscontrano ancora problemi con il WiFi che si interrompe improvvisamente, è possibile ricaricare il relativo modulo con sudo rmmod rtl8723be && sudo modprobe rtl8723be , invece di dover riavviare l'intero sistema]
