Il modo "corretto" per farlo è generare una copia del programma iproute2 "ip" (in /sbin/ip ) con i relativi parametri.
l'interfaccia ioctl è generalmente obsoleta e non consente di configurare tutti i parametri (ad esempio, alias IP senza nome).
Anche demoni come dhcpcd che hanno bisogno di cambiare l'indirizzo IP, in genere lo fanno generando un programma esterno... non è che lo farai molto spesso.
Il modo "corretto" per IPv4 senza magic +2:

Salve:nella funzione set_ip, mi ha dato un errore. Ho dovuto cambiare da :

e ha funzionato bene.
