Come aggiornare Ubuntu Server 10.04 a 12.04?

Devo aggiornare il server Ubuntu dalla 10.04 alla 12.04.

10.04 non è più supportato. Quindi quale passaggio devo fare per un aggiornamento pulito?

Ho eseguito i seguenti passaggi:

sudo sed -i -re 's/([a-z]{2}\.)?archive.ubuntu.com|security.ubuntu.com/old-r‌​eleases.ubuntu.com/g‌​' /etc/apt/sources.list 
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade 
sudo apt-get update 
sudo do-release-upgrade

Dopo qualche tempo, l'aggiornamento si interrompe:…Ripristino dello stato originale del sistema

è meglio scaricare iso e reinstallare
potresti installare il server Ubuntu 12.04
Fare clic sul collegamento 32 bit o 64 bit potresti selezionare
l'aggiornamento non è possibile per le vecchie versioni
oppure prova 17.04 Fare clic sul collegamento torrent
