Ubuntu 16.04 – Degrado delle prestazioni wireless?

Ho letto numerosi altri gradini su questo problema e ho provato una serie di cose, ma sempre lo stesso problema.

Ho aggiornato dal 14.04 al 16.04 ed è allora che sono iniziati i problemi. La mia connessione wireless è perfetta:speedtest.net mostra velocità di download fino a 65 Mbps. Un po' più tardi (circa 10-20 minuti, a seconda dell'utilizzo), quando mi rendo conto che la mia connessione Internet si è deteriorata, il controllo della stessa velocità restituisce velocità fino a 0,5 Mbps. Se continuo così, a un certo punto si guasta completamente quando il wifi si disconnette e poi tenta continuamente di riconnettersi senza successo.

Se eseguo questi comandi

    sudo modprobe -r rt2800pci
    sudo modprobe -v rt2800pci

La connessione è perfetta ancora una volta. Per altri 10 o 20 minuti, e poi lo stesso accade di nuovo fino a quando non lo resetto di nuovo.

Qualsiasi pensiero su cosa potrebbe causare questo problema o su come posso fare per rendere permanente la "correzione" sarebbe molto apprezzato.

Finalmente, dopo più di una settimana di frustrazione – penso di aver trovato una soluzione a questo problema – che c'è qualcun altro là fuori che vuole strapparsi i capelli, non farlo.

Sembra che risolvere questo problema specifico, che va di pari passo con il fastidio

errori in /var/log/syslog richiede la seguente azione

 iwconfig

e ottenere l'indirizzo MAC dell'Access Point. L'ho inserito nel campo BSSID nella schermata di configurazione della rete nella scheda Wi-Fi

Un'ora dopo ho notato che la velocità di Internet scendeva di nuovo a 1 – 3 Mbps … e ho notato da /var/log/syslog che si è verificato contemporaneamente a un problema IRQ16.

Quindi ho seguito i consigli per aggiungere "irqpoll" alle opzioni di avvio.

Per aggiungerlo in Ubuntu 16.04, è necessario
Modificare il file /etc/default/grub Modifica / Aggiungi una riga per includere quanto segue

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="irqpoll"

Se hai già dei valori, aggiungili alla fine come

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash irqpoll"

Per aggiornare grub cfg, esegui quanto segue

sudo update-grub

Puoi controllare se irqpoll è stato aggiunto al tuo file cfg facendo

cat /boot/grub/grub.cfg | grep irqpoll

Dovresti essere in grado di individuare alcune voci.

Dopo un REBOOT – la mia macchina era perfetta – 24 ore su 24 – ancora così!
