Possibile duplicato:
la dimensione degli elenchi di aggiornamento di apt-get è troppo grande
Dopo pulito installando 12.04 (Release Candidate) e accettando tutti gli aggiornamenti e gli upgrade fino ad oggi, trovo che sudo apt-get update invariabilmente recupera informazioni nell'intervallo MB, circa 12 MB, mentre sudo apt-get upgrade per lo più non ha nulla da scaricare.
I tre recuperi più grandi che vedo sono:

Sono abbastanza sicuro che il sudo apt-get update i recuperi non erano così grandi con 11.10 e raramente superavano anche 1 MB.
La mia domanda è questa:questi grandi recuperi sono solo perché 12.04 è recente o questi grandi aggiornamenti saranno la norma?

Risposta accettata:
Ho disabilitato deb-src di apt.conf righe per microfono, qualunque sia la risposta. Questo lo ha portato, come con te, a ~6 MB.
Poi ho notato che quando apt riceveva le informazioni sul pacchetto, passava attraverso 192.168.1.3—il mio squid-deb-proxy server (che esegue 11.10; non ho ancora avuto modo di aggiornarlo). Disinstallazione di squid-deb-proxy-client dal client ha riportato alla normalità le dimensioni del download delle informazioni.
EDIT:Aaand è tornato al suo vecchio comportamento. Ho anche controllato la macchina virtuale sul mio Mac (nuova installazione della versione stabile il giorno in cui è uscita) che avvio di tanto in tanto; anche le informazioni sull'aggiornamento del pacchetto sono un grande download su di esso. Lascerò questa risposta semplicemente per documentare che questa soluzione non funziona. Oltre a ciò, sono bloccato.
