Ricevo un bug simile dopo aver provato a disinstallare e reinstallare.
Per me ho dovuto aprire un prompt cmd come amministratore ed eseguire lxrun /install
Quando è stato aperto Windows Store, non c'era nessuna Distro da scegliere, quindi ho trovato questo comando lxrun /install e ha funzionato anche per me.
Otterrai qualcosa di simile a questo come output:
C:\WINDOWS\system32>lxrun /install
Warning: lxrun.exe is only used to configure the legacy Windows Subsystem for Linux distribution.
