Prima di tutto, presumo che tu abbia letto l'intero capitolo (in particolare su kobjects e ksets). Quindi quasi ogni struct nel modello di driver di dispositivo li ha inclusi in modo carino. Se vuoi manipolare il kobject per la classe stessa (non sono sicuro se sia saggio o no), questo è il tuo struct class
è dev_kobj
membro.
Tuttavia, vuoi manipolare gli attributi di quella classe. credo lo fai definendo un array (solitamente statico) con terminazione NULL come segue e quindi assegnando il suo indirizzo al struct class

Quando non so usare qualcosa, di solito uso git grep
il repository per qualcun altro che lo ha usato e cerca di imparare da esso in quel modo. Sembrerebbe che questo sia il motivo per cui tendono a dire "hacker" del kernel e non "sviluppatori".
